| Since Briana was nine years old she has been performing on stage. She was the youngest member to be accepted into the Bach Festival Concert Chorus at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Many of the choir’s performances made the local news. | | At the age of 14 she was in the opening ceremonies of 1994 World Cup Soccer in Orlando, FL. She made national television and got to perform in front of 100,000 people. Some of the performers in the show were Jon Secada and Jacqueline Jones. When Briana entered her freshman year of high school she auditioned for Disney to perform in Walt Disney’s Candlelight Processional as well as Universal Studios Christmas in the Park. She made anchor choir, which meant more performing up to 5 nights a week, 3 shows a night. During Briana’s junior year of high school she competed in the school’s talent show and won first place singing an opera piece from Pirates of Penzance, “Poor Wandering One.” | | When Briana moved to Boston she attended the prestigious Berklee College of music where she received Berklee’s “BEST Scholarship.” Briana began to network at Berklee. She sang and played guitar for recording sessions. She performed at the Hard Rock Café as well as the 2002 Women’s show with an original song “Euphoria.” She graduated a semester early from Berklee. She has co-written songs with other artists in the United States, Canada and Italy. “I would like to write, record, and perform for a living. It is truly what I enjoy the most!” | | Briana was one of the top 10 finalists selected in 92.5 “The River Rising Star Contest.” Her song "Take a Walk with Me" was featured at The New Hard Rock Cafe in Boston, MA August 31, 2007. She is currently getting airplay and has been featured on The River’s Home Grown Music show for independent artists. She has been called upon to represent 92.5 The River. Some of these events were The Going Green Expo at the Bayside Expo Center in Boston, MA February 3, 2008 and The Down to Earth Expo at The Hynes Convention Center March 28, 2008. Briana has just finished her CD titled "All I Want". It’s a collection of songs, with a strong pop acoustic influence and a jazzy intimate vibe. The CD has been highly anticipated by her fans. |
